I Visited the new gallery space in Nottingham; Nottingham Contemporary.
The building was designed by Caruso St John. It's a bold structure and I thought that the building appears bigger on the inside than it looks from the outside.
STAR CITY
The main concept behind this exhibition was the thought of 'what do we see when we look to the future? A world ravaged by climate change? Wars fought over water? A planet of slums surrounded gated communities? The world's poorest nations deep in debt? With little to look forward to the future seems to have lost its allure'.

(Jane & Louise Wilson, Star City 4 channel Video installation with sound.) This piece was set up really well with 4 different large scale screens and sound.

(Christian Tomaszewski and Joanna Malinowska, Mother, Earth, Sister, Moon) This was an interactive piece, you could walk around inside the space suit and sit in the centre of the space suits helmet and from a window view from the floor above, you can see the whole of the layout and the scale of the piece.
The gallery had a spacious shop which you had to go through on entry and exit from the exhibition which is a tactical way of promoting other up-coming exhibitions and shows and buy making a profit from sales of books and products.
